Quotes arrive through emails, PDFs and spreadsheets in different formats. Someone has to bring them together by hand, formats differ, and costs can be overlooked. Rapido brings supplier responses into one structured comparison so you can see options side by side. It does not claim to remove every email from freight work, and it does not guarantee error-free procurement.
The quotes rarely look the same
Forwarders often use different descriptions and structures for origin, freight, destination, documentation and surcharge items. Rapido helps organise and normalise supplier responses so charges can be compared more consistently. It does not invent a missing cost. If a charge cannot be identified, Rapido flags it for confirmation rather than assuming a value.
Different currencies make the real comparison harder
Supplier quotations may include AUD, USD and other currencies. Original supplier currency stays visible as the source data. Rapido supports comparing offers in AUD. When a supplier provides their own rate of exchange (Supplier ROE), that overrides Rapido's comparison rate for that supplier's commercial view.
The lowest number doesn't always tell the full story
Price matters, but businesses also weigh quote completeness, transit time, payment terms, inclusions and exclusions, and the service relationship with a forwarder. You don't need to replace a freight forwarder you trust
Many businesses have a strong relationship with one forwarder and still want to check whether rates remain competitive. Rapido lets you invite your existing forwarder alongside other suppliers and benchmark the options in a structured way. Benchmark the relationship - don't automatically replace it. Rapido does not force supplier switching.

When quotes and invites live only in inboxes, it is easy to lose track of who was asked and who has come back. Rapido keeps the freight request, invitations and supplier responses together so you can see progress on the RFQ and manage the comparison from one workspace.
Tender and Spot Quote
Rapido supports both Tender and Spot Quote workflows. A Tender suits corridors or rate cards with validity dates; a Spot Quote is for a specific shipment. Both use the same idea: one request, comparable responses, true total in view. More detail in the FAQs.

- Invite your freight forwarders - they can open that request through a secure Magic Link without needing a full Rapido Verified account to quote on that RFQ.
- Receive and compare supplier responses - freight, origin and destination charges, including mixed currencies, side by side.
- Review the options and award - you award the preferred supplier yourself. Rapido does not pick the winner or move the cargo.
